Philosopher, translator, graduate of the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Warsaw and the School of Social Sciences at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences, employee of the JU Institute of Culture. Author of books Maska i oko. Rozważania o tragedii, ironii i polityce [The Mask and The Eye. Reflections on Tragedy, Irony and Politics] and Przyszłość pewnej przenośni. Przyczynek do pytania o historię sztuki [The Future of a Certain Metaphor. Contribution to the Question of the History of Art], as well as many articles (published, among others, in "Znak", "Przegląd Polityczny", "Kronos", "Civitas", "Teologia Polityczna"). He translated, among others, the writings of Hegel, Lukács, Adorno, Heidegger, Schmitt, Taubes. He received Barbara Skarga Award in 2015. He recently published the book Warstwy ochronne. Zbiór szkiców o literaturze i polityce [Protective Layers. A Collection of Sketches on Literature and Politics].
