Eligibility Criteria

Formal requirements for participation in recruitment:

1. Declaration of knowledge of a foreign language required by the partner university at the minimum B2 level or the level specified by the partner university.

2. Status of a student or PhD student at the Jagiellonian University.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. The basis for determining the qualification result will be:

1) grade point average for the last year of studies or

2) in the case of first-year students of first- and second-cycle studies, long-cycle master's studies, the result of recruitment for studies or

3) in the case of doctoral students, the result of recruitment to the doctoral school.

Qualification score will be on a scale from 0 to 100.

The average grade will be recalculated according to formula: qualification result = (grade average - 2) / 3 * 100.

2. In the case of obtaining the same result, priority on the ranking list will be given to persons with (documented) higher knowledge of a foreign language. In the case of the same result and the level of knowledge of a foreign language, the order on the ranking list will be determined by the result of the interview conducted by the faculty coordinator.

Qualification Committee:

1. Vice-Rector of the Jagiellonian University for didactics.
2. Head of the Foreign Student Service Department.
3. Erasmus+ University Coordinator.

Qualification process:

1. Candidate on: 16.01. – 05.02.2023, submits the application electronically via the USOSweb system after logging into the system.
   1. in the tab: Student Exchange, fills out the application describing the motivation for the trip and declaring knowledge of a foreign language required by the partner university at a minimum level of B2 or a level specified by the partner university. NOTE: Knowledge of a foreign language may be verified at a later stage by the institute/faculty coordinator. If the candidate is unable to confirm the declared level of foreign language proficiency, the mobility awarded will be cancelled.
   2. The candidate has the option of indicating up to 3 partner universities to which he wants to go according to the selection priority.
   Qualifying Committee on: 06.02. – February 19, 2023 will consider applications and grant candidates mobility in USOSweb.
   1. After logging in to USOSweb in the tab: Student Exchange, candidates will be able to check the recruitment results.
   2. NOTE: After qualifying for the Erasmus+ Study Program, the candidate must accept the awarded university within 7 days of awarding the partner university in USOSweb by completing the application with the missing information.

Appeals procedure:

1. Candidate on: 20.02. – 26/02/2023, submits a letter (template available at: erasmus.uj.edu.pl) with documentation confirming the violation of the qualification procedure to the Foreign Student Service Department at ul. Ingardena 6, 30-060 Krakow. Appeals submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
