Her attention is mostly dedicated to the liminal points of scientific disciplines, especially those where ecological sciences meet with social and humanistic sciences. She studies organisational endurance, permaculture, organisational networks in rural areas and ecovillage movement in Poland and Baltic Sea Region. She focuses primarily on qualitative research, discovering the possibilities of acting in local communities offered by ethnography and autoethnography.
